In almost everyone's life, it is a common event to see or experience bleeding or swollen gums when you brush or floss teeth. This dental problem is due to the inflammation of the gums, known as gingivitis. It has been found out that in every household, at least member is suffering from this problem. If this condition is left without treatment, the disease can become serious and more advanced. The cause of gum disease is dental plaque. Plaque is a sticky film made up of bacteria which is found on your teeth when sugar and starch in your food comes in contact with the bacteria primarily found in your mouth and can harden into tartar if not removed. Be able to main good oral hygiene to prevent gum disease from developing. Take proper care to help avoid plaque deposits.
